VentGuard™ Desiccant Series Breathers

Des-Case VentGuard™ breathers have check-valve technology that isolates the system and only ‘breathes’ when necessary, making them an ideal solution to protect low-flow applications with intermittent operations. Check valves provide slight system pressurization that allows for controlled breathing without excessive pressure build-up. The system breathes only when pressured to do so, and then the air is cleaned and dried before it is introduced into the system, ensuring a clean, dry headspace. This control mechanism also prevents premature saturation of the silica gel and extends breather life, a problem not as easily tackled by standard desiccant breathers exposed to extreme moisture.

Oil Tank Sight Glasses

Often referred to as BS&W bowl (bottom sediment and water bowl), our Oil Sight Glass (OSG) can play a critical role in early detection of contamination and allow for constant monitoring of what’s in your oil that can decrease equipment life. Users have an immediate, crystal-clear visual inspection of the oil and a magnified view of the presence of sediment, thanks to an innovative white bottom design. The OSG has the versatility to be installed vertically or horizontally to a drain port depending on space needs for the application. With the addition of indication marks on the side of the bottle, you can quickly and easily monitor the rate of water accumulation. According to the latest API 610 standard (12th edition, January 2021) the use of a BS&W bowl is now recommended for wet sump oil lubricated pumps to detect the presence of water and other gross contamination.

Depth Cellulose Filter Elements

Wound Cellulose Depth Filter Elements are an inexpensive method for obtaining high-efficiency filtration in light-viscosity oils such as hydraulic, turbine, or transformer oils.

Spin-On Filter Elements

With a broad range of thermal and chemical compatibility, these elements are very versatile and work on a wide array of applications, including Des-Case’s filtration systems and others.

Contamination Monitoring Sensor

The CMS in-line contamination monitor automatically measures and displays particulate contamination, moisture and temperature levels in various hydraulic fluids. It is designed specifically to be mounted directly to systems, where ongoing measurement or analysis is required, and where space and cost are limited.

Vacuum Dehydration Unit

Des-Case vacuum dehydration (VAC) systems are designed to remove 100% of free and emulsified water and at least 90% of dissolved water from petroleum and synthetic-based fluids. And, VAC systems remove 100% of free gases and least 90% of dissolved gases. What makes a Des-Case VAC system most unique is it’s designed for continuous, unattended duty and doesn’t require vacuum tower maintenance or costly coalescing filter element replacements―the tower is completely sealed and uses permanent dispersion media.

Extended® Series Desiccant Breathers

Des-Case Extended Series® desiccant breathers combine the trusted materials and design of our Standard breathers with the check-valves of our VentGuard™ and HydroGuard® breathers, plus a new oil mist reducing feature, higher air flows and more than double the desiccant! These high airflow, long-lasting desiccant breathers are ideal for tank farms and large or remote applications.

Oil Level Gauge Indicators

The Oil Level Indicator (OLI) was developed in response to the need of maintenance professionals to gauge the oil level inside large tanks, gearboxes and reservoirs. The OLI is a clear high performance polyamide column with 1/2″ NPT threads at each end. Red and green level marker stickers are included with the OLI to mark upper and lower limits, or to designate running oil level and idle oil level. Utilizing the drain port, operators can visually monitor the fluid level within reservoirs.

These heavy-duty carts are capable of removing particles and/or free water from all types of oil—even high viscosity gear oils—and are designed for years of dependable service.

TC Series filter carts are ideal for large reservoirs with high flow rates. With canisters that can accommodate multiple filter types such as microfiberglass drop-in filters, depth filters and bag filters, the TC Series carts can remove everything from large particles and debris, sludge, varnish, and water contamination.
